Why study this course

This program will put students on the path to a career in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or nutraceutical industries. They will learn through hands-on experience in state-of-the-art facilities (formulation, pharmacology and analytical laboratories) and during professional practice placements at the new Gold Coast University Hospital and other clinical settings. Students will take specialist courses in areas such as pharmacy management, complementary and alternative medicine, and pharmacology.

Content can be a little heavy and delivery can also hinder wider class engagement and attention at times. Not the easiest to balance with out-of-uni commitments, especially toward the final years. Innovative learning tools and techniques integrated into the curriculum to instil a modern and relevant flavour into the repertoire of graduates.
