Completion of this course covers the skills and knowledge required to provide CPR to the meet the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines.

The Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and Safe Work Australia recognise this training as valid for 12 months. It will need to be updated annually to keep your CPR certification current.

Entry requirements

In order to complete this training, you must:

Be at least 14 years of age; AND
Use literacy and numeracy skills to read, interpret and apply guidelines and protocols; AND
Be physically fit enough to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor
