The course was thorough in all aspects of working in Community Services sector. The units varied from WHS, legal and ethical, communications, facilitation and development. I would strongly recommend this Diploma for those wishing to practice in this field. The role plays were challenging but important.

The head teacher was amazing. Went out of their way to assist and support the completion of the course. There was two teachers who did not communicate well with multiple assessments due on the same day or week with little time between. Students were expected to do 20 hours per week by the course info. This amount was grossly inadequate with significant amounts of time needed for group activities and assessments. One teacher would put up slides and just read from the text word for word for 3 hours each class online. This course is aimed solely for people currently working in the community services industry. Sadly it was not possible to work full time and complete this course despite significant experience in the industry and huge amounts of pressure to complete assessments
