Why study this course

This program has Pharmacy Board of Australia approval and prepares students to undertake the internship year required by the Pharmacy Board of Australia to become registered as a pharmacist. Once the program and the intern year are completed, graduates can practise in any area of pharmacy in Australia or New Zealand, including community or hospital pharmacy. Pharmacy plays a central role in the health care system and involves a high-level knowledge of drugs and therapeutics as well as professional care of patients. It has a focus on work-integrated learning using on-campus simulations and extensive professional practice experiences in community and hospital pharmacies. Students gain a strong scientific foundation from which to undertake further studies in science or business if desired.

Student review
You need to love the job, do some experience in it, the job is going down hill to many competition and discount stores squeezing pharmacists in all aspects (do more for less) Only if you are very good and lucky can you do well My suggestion do experience in a very fast passed store to see the worst of it, if you still like it then apply.
