The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science is an applied science degree that combines advanced theoretical knowledge with extensive hands-on experience on industry standard equipment, equipping students with the skills required to join Victoria's most valuable high-tech industry. This course is very much designed to train students for an actual occupation rather than just give them a generic degree. The lecturers actually want to help the students find work and because the Parkville campus is so small compared to other universities it is much more personal.

I decided to go back and partake in higher education because I was bored after a year in the industry as an lab analyst and couldn't see myself doing it for the rest of my life. My honours degree in pharmaceutical science was not only fulfilling but helped me get to where I am today. Course content was very challenging intellectually which I loved. Lecturers and tutors always had time to help. Some would go out of their way to follow up with a problem I encountered in my project. Have no regrets and highly recommend the course.
