While the course was generally beneficial, I sensed a few areas that were not adequately covered. Firstly, there was a lack of information on transitioning from provisional registration to full registration. Secondly, behaviour management seemed to be glossed over, warranting a more in-depth exploration. Lastly, the workload was quite burdensome, with approximately 160 pages per week (one chapter per unit, totalling four units), in addition to lectures, activities, and assignments to manage.

The university gave me a rich learning experience. The courses were organised and flowed well. It was easy to understand what was required. The uni allowed me to meet and study with many students around the country. It gave many opportunities career wise due to its prestigious name! Highly recommend.

A lot of the content was irrelevant, too much theory. I would have liked more practical units, for example, applying for jobs, writing a cover letter and resume, completing the whole digital portfolio not just pasts of it and more focus on behaviour management. I would have liked to know what to do on day one, then day two then day three ect. Also, I found out through my mentor how to transfer from provisional to full registration it should have been mentioned in the course. Also my AfGT was due during my prac which was not practical, other Uni’s gave their students a week to complete it after their prac this would have been much better. Also other units used virtual reality to create fictitious scenarios such as parent meeting this would have been useful
